Stem cell controversy

I ran onto this entry about how the major media are determined to obscure news about stem cell research, especially the success doctors are having with adult stem cells. Why the media insists on touting embryonic stem cells is beyond me. What? You think it has to do with making the sacrifice of embryos somehow noble? But that would desensitize the public. Who'd want that? Ugh.
