Friday Five: Lord of all

In the beginning God created

Gen 1:1

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.

Psalms 19:1-2

The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

Isaiah 40:28

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Romans 1:20

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Heb 11:3

Romans 1:20, one of my favorite verses! It's the one I think about a lot when visiting Bill over at Friendly Christian and reading some of the comments there. We all are very aware of God and His presence (even though we may not understand it) but for so many pride crowds out truth...it breaks my heart!
